My name is Matty, the owner of Proactive Property Services. I’m a long time Hope Island local and have been in the construction industry for over 20 years. I started in landscaping and then spent many years in commercial construction on large projects all over Australia as a crane operator, project manager and safety officer.
When I founded Proactive Property Services I wanted to bring the same high standards, expertise and professionalism I developed in large scale construction and make it the new standard in residential property services.
While working away from home for long periods, my wife was often frustrated dealing with tradies who:
wouldn’t turn up on time
overcharged based on our suburb
assumed she wouldn’t understand their ‘tech talk’
tried to pass off substandard or defective work as normal.
poor communication
Solving these issues became the foundation for Proactive Property Services.
